Across the country state shortfalls are putting the brakes on drivers ed classes. Millions of teens about to start the school year with expectations of becoming licensed drivers are seeking alternatives to fulfill their state mandated drivers education requirement.
What was once routinely offered as part of standard high school curriculum is largely disappearing. As school district after school district is being forced to reduce expenditures, they’re increasingly dissolving their drivers ed programs and record numbers of districts, educators, and students alike embracing the quality and cost effectiveness of online drivers ed.
Take advantage of teens looking to become licensed drivers. As a DriversEd.com Associate you’re in a really good position to earn more money this month. Use our free marketing tools to reach out to teens looking outside of their schools and school districts for accredited, state-approved drivers ed. |

Driving is more nuanced and difficult than it appears and the more practice behind the wheel, the better the driver. Drivers-in-training and licensed drivers alike will want to check their tires, breaks, lights, and under the hood before they head back to school.
And their glove compartments! Double check that all the appropriate information is easy to locate, including: the owner’s manual with maintenance records, current registration and insurance, roadside assistance information, emergency phone numbers, flashlight, and maps/portable GPS system.
Once the car has been checked out, drivers need make sure that they understand any quirks and how everything operates, from the alarm to cruise control to hazard lights to the GPS system. Helping teens become safe, competent drivers serves everyone! |

DE: Where are you located? Batra: California
DE: How long have you been a DriversEd.com Associate?
Batra: I became a DriversEd.com Associate shortly after completing the online training myself. The original $99 I spent on the training has been one of my best investments, of the many I have made, as it not only allowed me to take the California DMV permit test, but also gave me the ability to receive money from referring people to DriversEd.com.
DE: What’s the most fun thing about it?
Batra: I started off referring my friends and family and was excited to be making some pocket change in high school. My friends also benefited from receiving a discount on their drivers ed.
DE: What’s the hardest thing about it?
Batra: It was hard to refer people once I ran out of friends and family members who I could give my code to. I then turned to Facebook Ads where I was able to point students to my code and DriversEd.com. The money I spent for the ads on Facebook was quickly recouped as my sales grew. There are a lot of investment opportunities out there, but the best investment is in yourself.
DE: What else are you doing these days?
Batra: I am currently an undergraduate student at George Washington University and will be spending my Junior year at the London School of Economics. In my spare time I have been studying for the LSAT. My savings as an Associate will be paying for a trip to ski the Alps while I am abroad in Europe.
DE: Any parting thoughts?
Batra: Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get. |

We asked first time drivers to show us how they felt when they got their license by submitting a victory dance video. And boy did they! Take a look at our YouTube Channel to see some of the videos.
After months of submissions and hours of viewing we’ve selected our winners. Steve Jen of California surpassed all entries with his lively entry. Congratulations Steve! We hope you enjoy your brand new iPhone. And a respectable shout out to our second and third place winners Keanu Romero of Florida and Trevor Finney of Nevada. Good job and happy shopping!
