In Nevada, it is fairly easy to receive a copy of your driving record—online, by mail, or in person.
The DMV offers three-year driver history printouts that can be requested online. You may also show your license at a Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles office to receive a copy of your record without filling out a form. To receive copies by mail, send a signed letter that includes your name, address, phone number, birth date, Social Security number, and drivers license number to the DMV Records Section in Carson City.
Employers or Third Parties
If you are an employer or other third party, there are certain steps for employers or third parties you will need to follow in order to receive driver license and vehicle title or registration records of others by mail.
Any third party who requests driver license or registration records of another individual must complete an Application for Individual Record Information (IR-002). For insurance companies and other businesses which request individual DMV records on a regular basis, they will need to complete an Application for Records Service (IR-001) - 71kb.
