Driving school was fun and I got to take my lessons with my friend. I liked the way our instructor taught us how to park. It seems not so hard now.

Happy New Year everyone ! This is Kevin R. Cruz the owner of this driving school. Once again we look forward to a challenging year in the driving school business. We have trained and taught more than 10,000 students in 20 years of service in Orange County. We respect our customers and take care of our students. We offer a fair price of $199 for 6 hours of drivers training and 30 hours of drivers education for free. We understand some parents can create drama at times. But we always stick to our agreed contracts and schedules. We will not be tolerate unprofessional behavior from some parents. We are a professional business. we teach about 500 students a year. The few that we have problems with and they come in waves. We are use to it.Some parents like to play the bad review game. We will not be victims of interesting parents. My Children and friends I know had no problem. This School has been around for a long time that I know of.

Kevin R. Cruz was rude when I called to schedule an appointment and late many times. I have discussed his actions with many other parents who have talked to him also.. If we could have gotten our money back and schedule with someone else we all would have. The guys is unprofessional!

I got my money's worth and my drivers license.

When our daughter turned 16, I started calling different schools to get information. I had no idea how this worked, but Kevin was very patient and answered all my questions. I was very happy with the quality of instruction she received and will definitely be calling again for my next daughter.

WOW what an angry parent. The last 5 reviews are from a parent who caused many scheduling problems, Payment problems and wanted our service but would not adhere to our rules as a driving school. Enjoyed the lessons with their son. These parents NO driving school would enjoy being envolved with. We are always happy to help all. 20 years and 10,000 Teens and counting.

Instructor yelled and screamed constantly. He left my son in the car alone while he stopped to visit friends or run errands. Very unprofessional. So happy to be done with this.

I am a high school principal. I enrolled my son in this program. We did not finish it. Never let your child be alone with this child. The 5 star ratings are made up by the instructor. Trust me.If there was a rating below poor I would have checked that box.

Oh and if Kevin tries denying that he ever get violent in front of me, it happened in 2006. So yeah maybe his memory would be too poor to remember. But I admit it was stupid of me forgot to leave a review or do anything about it because I just wanted to forget about what happened. And no Kevin, Im not going to put my real name up here. After seeing the way u got violent and beat ur car...who would?

Horrible. I dont know who on here would EVER say that Kevin was a good teacher. The guy yelled at me, made fun of my dad's accent, was acting racist and told another kid in the car that if he didnt know his way around the city he should have stayed in China, got very violent and hit the roof of his car over and over and over again when he didnt get the proper directions from the kid (thought he was about to assault me), and then kept screaming and screaming and screaming. Im honestly suprised that no one has ever sued this guy. Disgusting. And I can guarantee u that all the positive comments made on here are either by Kevin himself, or ppl who work with him. Otherwise it is 100% impossible to have a good experience here. But hey if u parents think that a stranger screaming at ur kids, getting violent in front of them, and using racial slurs towards them or towards someone else is a good learning experience then take them there. Otherwise stay away.

I'm a licensed driver now. I am going to have an sweet Summertime driving around. Kevin was nice to me and my friends he taught Drivers ed too. Villa Park Spartans are the sickest kids. Yaaaaa Spartans.

This is in response to DH who left the last 3 comments. Other wise known as David Hensley. Why not leave your whole name ? He was a nice parent for the last 8 months since he signed his son up for our whole driving school program. Because he was having a bad day and missed our return phone calls. He was upset. He left very nasty messages and expected to recieve a cordial phoe call back. We did call him back and he did not like being questioned on his unprofessional attitude. 8 months of no problems. He now wants to bad mouth us. We will proect our business in a professional way. He wanted a driving lesson ASAP and decided he wanted a refund because we could not do it as fast as he wanted it. He said small claims court would be in our future. We said no problem. He then filed for a refund from his credit card. He knows he would lose in court. You can not trust what he say's. We did enjoy teaching his son who has more of mature attitude than his dad. We will win the credit card chargeback ! We still have no problem finishing his lessons. We enjoy helping all of our teens. 20 years we have been in business and 10,000 teens we have taught. Parents like this are to be expected.

WOW. Now I find these reviews. Wish it was earlier.Kevin Cruz (owner) is a very rude, arrogant, unprofessional jerk that is impossible to deal with. I've never experienced such terrible customer service fom any company ever. We would spend days and weeks calling and leaving messages on his voice mail to schedule lessons with no communication from him. Then when he called back one time he was yelling (First words out of him mouth) "WHY WOULD I BE OUT OF BUSINESS?" because I had said in my last voicemail "I don't know if you're out of biusiness or what, but we've left several messages over the last several weeks and haven't heard back." I strongly suggest not useing his services. I have several other teens at my son's school that have fired this guy because he's impossible to deal with and extremely hot-headed. One friend waited a month to get his first lesson and then he claimed "You're not on my scedule." When the mom got upset, he started yelling at her. I was so happy with the whole driving school process. This was my first child to attend driving school. I had no idea what to do. This place explained the program in detail and charged the best price I had found. The classroom and driving instruction were well organized. My daughter and her friend who she signed up with had there lessons together. They were more than happy with their training. We found this driving school from a referral from a teacher at her high school.

5 stars my son passed hid driving test on his first try.

Had my lessons here. I was happy with Kevin. The training was educational and the money I paid was the cheapest by far. I'm 19 and my brother who's 17 also had Kevin. We were happy.

First point: The purpose for reviews would be so that customers can comment based on their experience and not for the instructors to bombard the reviews with their own negative comments - how unprofessional. Second point: Wow, someone had actually stated that he has made up all these review comments. I guess that is possible. Third point: Since I am already looking for driving schools in california, came across this page... I'll just write one. I also added a Yelp review for this: Beware, the owner is arrogant. I called to ask for the price for a family member who recently moved from Europe, because she asked me for help. Yes, she obviously speaks English, but is new here in California. The owner's first question is what High School I go to. Why, just because I sound young that you can just assume I attend High School and that I am the one who wants to take a driving lesson. (For everyone's info, I am graduating college). So right then and there, I was already turned off. I informed him that it was not for me, it was for my aunt. He then responded with, "Why isn't she the one talking to me? Does she not speak English?" Me: "yes she speaks english but she asked me to help her." I mean really? Instead of getting all the information I need at this point, we're talking about nonsense. I was already offended at this time and then he follows it with, "Well I'm just strict like that (OKAY??), and want to speak to the adult---" and I just ended it with "Okay thanks, nevermind." I'm also an adult, and I did act professionally. A customer is a customer no matter how young they are. Please be kind to the next person you're going to be speaking to. Don't assume they're a teenager, and even if they are, don't be so disrespectful. Nothing too bad. I'm not a parent that does not want to pay for fees, or a disrespectful parent. I was just way offended by the way he acted towards me.

Having three older children previously enrolled in Driver's Ed, Kevin R Cruz is by far the worst instructor that I've encountered. He is rude, arrogant, and unprofessional. He always showed up late, but still charged for an hour. He rescheduled appointments the day before. He was rude and argumentative with my child, and didn't let him ask questions or answer them. Now here he is denying all of the claims that the parents have made on here; then he has the nerve and audacity to bash them! How mature! This is our 5th teen we have sent to this driving school. We have 1 more to go. They all have passed their driving tests on their first times. We want to say how pleased we are with the service and training we have received each time. All of our kids had the same attitude in being happy with their private instruction.

Kevin Cruz is perhaps the rudest person I have ever dealt with. Please do yourself a favor and go to ANY OTHER SOURCE for your training. Or be prepared to get ripped off.

The last 2 reviews below are from a parent that had to pay some small extra fees for not following our simple driving school rules. Instead of understanding the process and getting a break, They screamed, yelled and cursed. They wanted to control the conversation and not be reasonable. First, ALL of the following comments have clearly been "MADE UP" by the creep who runs this business, Kevin R. Cruz. I would STRONGLY advise against hiring this creep. He is nothing but unprofessional, rude and an asshole. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

My friend and I took our driving lessons here and drove around with our instructor. He let us drive were we would normally go. We drove the actual routes that we would be driving after we were licensed. he said that was a good Idea and pointed out all the hazards to watch out for. We drove to our High School, jobs and friends houses. Totally fun 6 hours of learning.

My parents took me to get my permit at the dmv today. I called this driving school and was able to get a last minute appointment for my first driving lesson TODAY. What a great day I had and loved being able to drive so soon.

I learned about my cars controls today and drove around my High School area with my instructor. He said I did great and that's how I feel.

Went driving on the freeway and was very cool to be in the carpool lane passing all the traffic. Nice guy who took me driving.

This review is from a Police Officer. I hope it helps everyone. My wife and I enrolled our daughter in this DMV program. We met with the owner and were informed of how the program works in detail. This was the only driving school to explain the whole process to us. We had talked with other driving schools that were not so nice or informative. The instructor came out to our house and enrolled our daughter. This was a plus ! They have a great online program for the class which I sat down and took a lesson to see what kind of things my daughter was learning. Very educational and direct. My daughter passed the class and the instructor came back to our house to give us the DMV forms she would need for her exam at the DMV. She passed with a 100%. The instructor came back to the house on 3 different occasions and took my daughter driving for about 2 hours at a time. From the class to the driving lessons my daughter was very happy and informed us she could teach us about our driving now as well. TEENAGERS. This driving school did an outstanding job and gets my families recommendation. EXCELLENT ! I have seen this driving school training around my area before and have observed proper driving and teaching techniques.

My Instructor said if I was happy with my driving lesson I could leave a nice comment here. I was happy and he hdlped me to drive around my neighborhood.

I give driving tests to the public at a local DMV office. This driving school did not know my position. I want to give this driving school high praise ! From the very beginning to the end. The class & driving lessons were done in strict fashion and by the book. All the information we were given and the instruction my daughter had received was top notch and my daughter learned by the book. She enjoyed the learning and driving. Good job guy's ! I just got home from my first driving lesson. My teacher gave me scores and 4 was the best possible. I got mostly 4's and some 3's. I was nervous but excited and tried to be a good learner. I'm happy now and can't wait for my next lesson. Traffic can be scary !

I am surprised by the comment below ! I enrolled my son in the driving program and the phone calls we had were just fine. My son went from a novice beginner to a very good driver. We had some scheduling conflicts on our side and this school was very flexible with us. My son had nothing but good things to say about his experience and it showed in his driving. 5 STARS FROM US !

STAY CLEAR OF THIS MAN!! He is awful!!! He hangs up on you, puts you down and is very condescending when he answers a question. DO NOT GO TO THIS GUY!

Passed my driving test.

I sat through a class for drivers ed and my MOM had me take this online one too. I thought it would be a waste of time. I was surprised that I learned more information here than in the classroom I took. I feel I will Pass the written test with ease at the DMV now.

Great driving on-line class THAT WAS FREE. Finished pretty quickly. Now time to go drive and learn in the car.

Had my 1st lesson way cool!

I want everyone to know what an exceptional driving school this is. Kevin was just the most accommodating instructor throughout our whole process. We had a driving test scheduled today and some how forgot we needed the last driving lesson to finish and get the required completion paper for the DMV. We called and Kevin made it possible for my daughter to have her last lesson right before her driving test today. He even dropped my daughter off at the DMV to meet us and we had our paperwork finally. He waited with us and when my daughter was through with her driving test she walked right up to Kevin with a big smile and showed her DMV score sheet which showed 2 points missed out of a 100. She as well as we were thrilled that Kevin made it all possible. Great instructor who is the best. BIG A+

My daughter attended 2 other driving schools and was not happy with her instructors. After we enrolled her here she finally was able to learn how to drive. GREAT JOB and we are so pleased we found this driving school finally.

This parent is just a NIGHTMARE and she just will not PAY her bills ! She just keeps spewing negative assertions and really needs to just move on and enjoy her summer. The owner of this business is extremely unprofessional and he puts his students at risk during lessons by arguing on the phone. His “additional” charges are not in his contracts and he doesn’t disclose them until the final lesson. He continually cancels lessons and then has the audacity to charge you if you don’t or can’t reschedule within a certain amount of time. He is childless and immature and hangs up on people during conversations. He needs anger management classes and he has brought my daughter to tears! He was unprincipled when dealing with another professional associated with the DMV regarding transfer of paperwork so she could complete her driving test. Steer clear of this person he is a NIGHTMARE!!

This student waited more than 6 months to have a first driving lesson after enrolling ! She incurred certain Driving School program fees during her training program. This family knew about our program policies, which she and her mother were informed of by the Driving School contract. All students are given this contract after enrolling. Through-out her training program she did not want to pay and was given waivers on some fees but had to pay at least 1. The last lesson she and her mother wanted to ARGUE, manipulate and control the conversation. They were going to have to pay ! They refused so her lesson had to keep being rescheduled for non payment. This girl is a good and careful driver. It is just unfortunate this family does not like to pay people when they have to. We do not really ever get families that act this poorly.

I am happy I chose this driving school.

I used to teach driving instruction for a number of years. This Driving school was perfect for my grandson. They came out and picked up a nervous teen and brought back a confident young man. He talked about how happy the instructor made him by calming all his fears and tackling just about every road concern he had. This school is the kind I would of liked to work for. Good natured instructor and very knowledable on the DMV handbook.

Great services for the money , well worth the price for the piece of mind for our daughters driving. This School acted and taught professionally.

I almost crashed my Instructors car. I can't believe he was so calm, my Dad would have had a HEART ATTACK ! Good place to learn. My Instructor bought me a Slurpee at 7-11. He was a nice Instructor to get.

This Driving School I have been seeing Teaching around my patrol area. They always seem to be very careful in following the rules of the road. The instructors in the cars are right on top of it. This is why I SIGNED my Daughter up. She drives like I would like her too. She was very aware of her driving and of all the rules she needs to follow. Excellent Instruction. I recommend them
