This guy is strange. He would make stops and lock me in the car, take the keys with him, and make me either read the hand book or fill out papers for him. He would always say "I am right, right?" making it so you could only agree with him. He contradicts himself, saying that you're aggressive but you wait too long (being scared/timid) at the wheel. He uses examples that are somewhat scary to explain driving at the wheel (imagine sitting there and the all of a sudden him saying "pretend this is a knife"). He would always give me insulting comments and then tell me not to tell my parents. He compares girls from one high school to those at another. Girls especially, don't take lessons from this guy because he makes you very uncomfortable. Also he messes around while you're driving, making fun of other drivers and using his teaching break (on the passenger seat side) to piss off other drivers. I really loathed every lesson I had with him. He has even ate my food that I brought with me to the lesson. He tries to make you feel bad for him so he can make his personal stops ("I'm so hungry" "I have to use the bathroom!" etc.). DON'T TAKE LESSONS FROM HIM; YOU'LL REGRET IT. |

I treid calling this guy Timothy three times, to enroll (this was before I read these other comments) and he never called back, on the 4th try (I only did this because a friend said he was great!) I left a message saying that I was just going to call elsewhere. Lo and behold, he called back immediately! Then told me that it would go as this: two hours with him, twenty hours with parents, two ours with him, and twenty hours with parents, two hours with him, and twenty hours with parents. What?
Well, he was supposed to call me back last night, to make arrangements. He never called, so "never mind"... I am just going to call a different school. After reading all of the other comments, I would never use his services. |

The instructor, Tim, promised me a friendly driving atmosphere and perfect attendance. It turns out all wrong.
He's been late constantly - I had to wait 20 minutes to an hour on all my meetings and by that time I had to go outside elsewhere. When he arrived an hour late I decided to call it quits, yet he still asks for the money.
When I was driving with Tim, I was very pissed off. Can't someone at least speak good English in a politeful manner? After all, he promised to be patient and 'hopeful' to me. It was total opposite. He couldn't keep his mouth shut on his cell phone and always insulted me. He took a total of 8 breaks during my driving, going to stores buying his own personal interests. How embarrassing. I even have pictures evident on my camera.
Overall, I was SCAMMED, and I am at the process of filing a complaint to the DMV. DO NOT waste your money on an immature instructor who runs this pathetic business.
For others interested in filing the Complaint (OL-620) Form
http://www.dmv.ca.gov/forms/ol/ol620.pdf
All complaints will be saved onto a record. Although DMV may not mediate a dispute, a school with many complaints will be flagged, and the instructor will be stripped of his license. For others who received an unfair learning environment with this school also, I encourage you to go through the same process with the OL-620 form.

A designated driver.
P.S. I am often strict in business conducts. I will persecute whatever means if necessary to correct their malicious activities. It is imperative to crack down on any business if it gives consumers an unfair advantage for 'scammed' money. |

I liked my first class with Timothy. Even though he was on the phone, most of the time, I didn't complain as long as I was driving, I was excited!
However, he didn't show up for the next appointment, I arranged my time, he told he just forgot and was two hours late, probably teaching another students. When we meet I asked him to put me on the list, so he makes sure not to forget about the class and he did so.
After, he didn't show up right on the next appointment. I again arranged my time for the class. I tried calling Timothy, but could not reach him. One hour later he called me and talked in a manner like we didn't have any appointment.
I just felt upset that I didn't rely on the review and called this school... |

Instructor Sao Timothy (Tim) takes breaks for teaching to other students. And also does personal business during behind-the-wheel training sessions, once he was taking lunch ..-:)Think about before calling this school.
