My son had a pretty good instructor, however, I cannot understand how this driving school is still in business. I was told when I signed my son up and gave them money, that he would take lessons, get his 5 hour class, and take his road test. If he should pass the road test, he would get his license at the age of 17. Unfortunately that was not true at all. My son did all of the above and when he turned 17, he was informed by Motor Vechicle that he needed an MV-285 form that only driver's ed can give to you. Hutton's told me they were equivalent to a driver's ed school, however, when I asked for this form they told me they don't carry them. In addition, when I called Hutton's to ask a question, each person I spoke with had a different answer. One person said you can get your license at 17 and one said they didn't know the correct age. I was truly misinformed and it will now cost me an additional $450.00 in driver's ed fees in order for my son to upgrade to a senior license, or, he has to wait another year until he turns 18. This made me furious.
If you child wants to take driving lessons, I suggest you take them at your nearest high school.
Yours truly,
