Went to this school, got my drive times months after the class was over and had no problems getting it. They also tell you to schedule the first day of class and reminded you everyday to do so if you havn't and that its hard to get it last minute. Never had a problem with the instructor, nice guy from what I remember.

Charged full price for classroom and behind the wheel training. Never received drive time. Impossible to schedule it. Charged extra $15 to schedule time on the internet and it was a sham. Never an available time. Now they are gone and we are faced with paying another driving school fees ranging from $200-$399 to buy the drive time. We all run into to hard times, but running out on customers who paid in full, in good faith, with no explanation is BAD BUSINESS and shows tremendous lack of integrity.

Looks like Eagle 1 Flew the coop and ripped us off! I paid for my daughter to go to driving school and to have drive time. Everytime I called to schedule drive time, the phone was busy. Then was disconnected. I finally got a certificate in the mail that she completed her classroom time, with 0 drive time. The 0 drive time is not by our choice! It is because we couldn't schedule the drive time. Now we'll be paying another driving school another $150.00 for drive time. But I will be looking into what can be done to make Eagle 1 reimburse us for this. What happened Eagle 1????? You've made what should have been a positive experience for these kids, and you've screwed it up!!!

problems only arise when people are not consistant and responsible. Students are reminded every class about balances and how to get drive time. Before parents get on here and complain they should seriously ask themselves if their student was responsible , instead of pinning it on the business. Every company has rough times, but this school does a very good job, and students are educated well. The appropriate thing to do is not wait until a students permit is about to expire to sign up for class.

I successfully completed my class times 2 months ago (Aug 2008) I have been trying on a daily basis to schedule my drive times and all I hear is we are back logged and you can start the end of October well it's the beginning of Oct and the numbers are out of service and I was just informed they are closing. So it's nice to know they took my f'n money and wasted my time.

I haven't gone to this School YET. I will be starting at the one on Stemmers Run. I know many people of all ages that attended the school and they were very satisfied with the school and the teacher. I agree with the person that said if you didn't wait until the last minute to get things done you wouldn't have a problem. And you have to give respect to be treated with respect. I can almost bet my life that most of these complaints came from teenagers, and we all know how disrespectful teenagers can be today (not all but a good portion of them) and teenagers have the attitude that everything is owed to them. They can't respect teachers in school (no matter what type of school it is) nor can they respect their parents. With the exception of Jessica Hall it seems to me that the school had nothing to do with your lack of learning because most of you lack the basic education to even spell correctly. If you are going to complain about something or someone over the internet for the world to see, please take the time to have a dictionary with you so you can look up the words BEFORE you put your complaint out there. I don't blame the driving school for your lack of education, I blame you.

This schol is horrible. Its been 3 1/2 months i've been trying to schedule my drive times and they STILL havent given it to me and my permit is about to expire in like a month now. I call the school and leave messages like about a couple hundred times a week and they dont EVER call back. I would not recommend this school to anyone.

I would not recommend this school to anyone. I believe the MVA needs to to a good look at this operation. Classes always started late, ended early and had multiple breaks. After completion of training we had an extremely hard time getting the certificate needed for the driving test. We were told that the owner had it but no one was able to contact him! I am so happy my child already had driving skills when they took this course because the training was lousy!

I enjoyed the class and the time that they gave us beween breaks, it felt like recess most of the time, but that wont get you a lisence. Instead of allowing us to learn, they gave us the answers before the test, and they dont give you drive time while your still a student, they leave it up to you to work around their already packed drive time sched. I get my lisence in Sept. but i still havent had the chance to get drive time since they only schedule 2-3 people a day. I recommend either ABC driving or B&R driving. both i believe are on Holabird Ave. way better. and cheaper

Hi, i love what people write, because well, you dont put yourselves in the schools position. The mva allows them almost 5 months to get everything done, which is simple. Problems only arise for them when the kids WAIT until their LEARNERS IS GOING TO EXPIRE. Common sense tells you to go to school when you first get your lp. Also, allow me to state that this forum is for the Wise Avenue branch, most of you were talking about the one out near Kenwood. Help is only given when it is requested, and not SCREEMED at the employees. Thanx have a nice one.

What a nightmare!!! You hardly ever get someone to answer the phone and forget getting a return call from them. We tried for several months just to schedule drive times and when we finally did, they never showed up for the first scheduled time. I wouldn't even rate it a one star.

the teacher was very rude and ignorant. the classes ended different times every night, so you never knew what to tell your ride. also the place looked like a dump and it had very dangerous, steep steps to walk up. they were also very unorganized.

It is difficult once the classroom portion is done to get a hold of the driving instruction to set up drive times. They also missed 2 of my daughters scheduled drive times.
