It was very easy to pass... Way to easy, the teachers are completely unaware of what went on in the class room. That includes CHEATING, on every test I noticed that every single one of the 20 or more students in my class had their phones out looking up answers, or just simply asking people next to them. Everyone in that class was my friend, but I know that they are all dumb as hell yet they all passed, no problem. The second thing was the in class work. Rather then asking us questions and having us the students to answer them, our teacher just gave us multiple choice sheets and just said...A...C...B....A.....D. It was rediculace, we learned NOTHING. I even asked the teacher once why he doesnt have us answer the questions, he just said we need them to study for the tests.... The test that everyone cheats on the WHOLE time and never once got caught. Even the 50 signs test was a breeze, I pulled out the book that they give you at the begining of the segment and copied down every single one. Our desks were COMPLETEly cleared, nothing but the test was allowed on our desk, yet I sat in the front row, layed my book straight on the table and never looked up, I got away with it 30 minutes of straight cheating. And that's what everyone els did as well. We all knew there was no point in studying to pass the test not one person got caught. But back to the worksheets, the last day of class he asked us to get out all of our worksheets. He came by and collected our sheet, then threw them ALL AWAY, straight to the garbage. I later remembered, I never put my name on a single one of my papers... Yet here I am 5 months later with my permit and 30 hours of driving finished. The bottom line is ANYONE can pass this class, so this is a message to all teens looking for a place to take drivers Ed. GO TO COURTESY THERE IS NO WAY YOU WILL FAIL

First off, the instructor sat in her car until about 5 minutes after scheduled road test even though we were 20 min. early. When she finally got out of the truck, she was yelling at someone on her phone and complaining about having to go do some work. Next, she insulted my car (I wasn't the one taking the road test, this person just made me that mad!) Saying something about "couldn't you clean up a bit first?" I didn't realize an empty pepsi bottle on the passenger's side floor was offensive considering I came home from work in a rush to have someone use my car for the road test. Having been to other road tests with other friends in the past, I know they are supposed to check headlights, tail lights, horn, etc. before even beginning road test. The paper work we received even said they need to do this. She did not check anything. Next, time for road test...she said he was driving too fast (under speed limit) because "what if the roads were wet?" Well road tester, since the roads are dry and it's sunny, why is this an issue? Next, "braking too hard at a yellow light" So would it be better to run a red light? Overall just very rude and unhelpful. When I called to complain about the service I was told a manager would call me back...waiting on that one to happen. When I explained the rude and unprofessional road tester the woman on the phone asked what her name was (something with a K) but didn't apologize or anything for the inconvenience of having such a rude road tester. When I explained that she also didn't do said safety check, she tried to convince me that yes she did. How could she possibly know that when she wasn't there? Very interesting. She claimed that she looks for that as you pull into parking lot. Hmmm...so as we pull into parking lot (headlights off) you can see both turn signals at the same time, the brake lights, and hear the horn. Nope, not so much. DO NOT GO HERE! I wish more people would be honest about their service from this company. Had to give one star to publish or would give none at all!

I would give this company “zero” stars if that was an option. I administer FAA Pilot Flight exams for a living. I have issued over 1000 pilots licenses. I know how nervous applicants can be. Check-ride-itis we call it. The first responsibility of an examiner is to the place the applicant at ease. We arrived 10 minutes early out of respect. We didn’t want to keep the examiner waiting. When he arrived and opened the cones for us to enter the test area I got out of the car and introduced myself. He looked right through me; no acknowledgment or hello. He just barked “pull your car up to this blue line” I asked if he wanted me or my son to do it as we weren’t clear on his intentions he growled slowly “P U L L T H E C A R U P T O T H E B L U E L I N E.” This examiner treated us like we had committed a crime; he was very hostile. He turned his back and went over and sat in his van for approximately 10 minutes. He then got out and started setting up the course. My son said “maybe we should say hello again.” I replied “he seems in a pretty bad mood and doesn’t seem like he wants to.” Whereby my son said “well let’s try to be friendly again maybe we caught him off guard.” I thought “my son is wiser than I am” and said “sure, let’s say hello again.” We tried to greet him again… I said to him “hi… can we help with anything?” In a harsh, loud voice he ORDERED my son and me back in the car, bordering on hysteria like a police officer who is nervous that he has pulled over an armed felon. He barked at us without any sign of acknowledgement or respect. He commanded “GET BACK IN THE CAR” to me then to my son who had also gotten out of the car “GET BACK IN THE CAR”. Then he looked at me again and ordered “YOU, GET IN THE BACK” turned and walked back to his van. He put enormous pressure on my son before the test had even begun; we didn't even know his name. We never found it out either. I opened the right rear backdoor, kneeled down and said to my son, sitting in the driver’s seat, “I’m not comfortable with the way the guys behaving.” He said he wasn’t either. I then asked if he was “OK” with me pulling the plug on this test; he said "yes, definitely yes." Now here’s a normal 16 year old who wants his license so bad he can taste it... but he was “just fine” with not taking his exam with this examiner. I closed the door. Walked up to the examiner and told him that he was rude and hostile and that I wasn’t going to allow him to subject my son to his dreadful attitude. We left and I called the school to issue a complaint. I don’t think they took me seriously until I said “I’m not calling to get a discount or any consideration at all. I’m calling to say how badly your examiner behaved and we won’t be back.” I cannot recommend Courtesy Driving School on any level.

Absolutely terrible. You would think the instructors would be more polite being 15 minutes late, but giving you a nasty attitude during your entire drive. Honestly, I did Courtesy segments 1 and 2 at different places. Both times the instructor was a d-bag and the road tester was unclear and had an attitude problem. I failed their test because "the light was red" when clearly it was yellow and I had no option but to go through as it just turned yellow. The current two stars is too much for them, even one star is...

First off, the teacher @ LCMSN is "Westenberg" or something like that. Either way, hes a total d-bag. I found a coupon online for $10 and my classes were 3 weeks sooner than the other driving schools around. I really liked my teacher, he took his time to make sure we were all scheduled for drives and reviewed the final with us. I definately rated Cortesy 5 stars because the price was awesome, the instructor was great (sans Westberg who wasnt the in class teacher, just a driver), and I received my certificate on time and got my permit and am driving. +1 for Courtesy!

i just finished the classes at lcmsn and it sucks sooooo bad. yea the old man named weisenberg or whatever is a bastard. first of all he doesnt teach you anything. when i first got in the car, he asked if i knew how to drive, and i said no. but he still made me go out on the streets right away. he sucks so bad. then he was yellling at me for not using the signal. he was like "how many times do i have to tell you to use the signal!!!". dude, it was my first time!!! what a fag. and courtesy is gay, because he's been complained about before, but they wont fire the jerk. he didnt even yell at me for driving incorrectly most of the time...it was mostly cuz i didnt know what street we were on and i couldnt find my neigborhood from there. he is a fagggggg

I took segment one snd two from this place seg one was okay but segment two was a waste of my time and my money. I am a teeneager and the fist class we were supposed to watch a movie the tv didn't work so we basically sat there for two hours. The second day of class we went over a few things with the instructor saying this is the answer for # -- on the testand we weree let out early. The last day of class was a test so to speak one girl actually failed it they let her take it over again right there with kids around her telling her the answers like I want to be on the road with her are you kidding??? Every day we were let out early not a great course for seg 2.

I took segments I and II and the road test through Courtesy Driving School. I feel they did an awesome job of preparing me to be a responsible, cautious driver. The instructors are very organized and knowledgeable and they made the classes fun and interesting. I highly recommend Courtesy Driving School to anyone looking for an excellent driver's education experience.

I went through courtesy to learn to drive, and didn't. The instructor doesnt pay attention during your drives and I feel it is unsafe...Also, i was never taught how to park. During class, the instructor didn't teach and hardly even spoke to the class..we did book work every day and for the last test to get our permits, the answers were in the book and he even announced some. It's careless, they just want your student's money.

The material used in class are outdated by 10 years. They charge $3 for book rental and no receipt is given also not in the contract. IRS should check them out. Cars in need of service. Dave Semrau the owner doesn't give instructors enough gas money. This is a shady operation and should be investigated.

If I only knew what I know now. This company does not have enough driving instructors for the number of students in a class. Your child could end up trying to complete their driving requirement up to six weeks after the classroom time is completed. It was a poor experience.
