Holidays Offer Huge Earning Potential

The holiday season is here! As High Schools across the country prepare for the winter break, students are gearing up for some well earned time off. Time to spend time with family, hangout with friends, relax. However they choose to spend their time, they'll have time. Time which could be well spent on fulfilling their drivers ed requirement. Urge teens to take their drivers ed over the winter break and earn extra holiday cash for yourself!

Take advantage of this seasonal selling opportunity by promoting the course on your social networks. Facebook, Twitter and blogs are great ways to reach teens. Also as a DriversEd.com affiliate you have access to our quick email creator to help send out messages. And last (but not least), the online drivers ed course is also a great gift idea for parents and grandparents.

Rules for Your Ride

Driving or riding in cars can seem like the most trivial, mundane thing—after all, it's something most of us do every day. But if you really think about it, driving is a big deal. We're hurling ourselves through time and space in plastic and metal boxes. Weird. And when we're the one driving, our actions control the life or death of our passengers and other people on the road. When you consider that car crashes are the leading cause of death for 15-20 year olds, suddenly, driving becomes a huge deal.

Of course it's easy to forget about all this when you're rocking out with a carload of friends on the way to the beach, so it's best to build good habits from the get-go. This all starts by getting the proper in-car training before you become your crew's taxi. But beyond that, here are five ways to keep you and your friends alive while driving around.

National Teen Driver Safety Week Ride Like A Friend

The third annual National Teen Driver Safety Week (NTDSW) was a big success! NTDSW is solely dedicated to raising awareness and seeking solutions to unnecessary teen deaths on the road. Established by the Congress in 2007, NTDSW is held annually on the third week of October each year, its goal is to educate adults and teens and get parents and schools administrations involved to encourage and focus on teen driver safety throughout the year.

We're partnering with Zest Books author Erika Stalder to raise awareness of teen driving safety. As a featured DriversEd,com guest columnist, Stalder is providing monthly columns relating to teen driving and safety.

Help your school provide for your teen's future.

We've partnered up with eScrip to donate 5% of your DriversEd.com tuition back to your school!

What does this mean for you?

This means more money that your school can use toward new sports equipment, school events, computers, and books—all things that make school more enjoyable and educational for your teen!

Get started. It’s easier than your last science test.

If you already have a free eScrip account, just use the credit card associated with that account during payment, and we’ll automatically donate 5% of your tuition back to your school.

If you don’t have an eScrip account, you can register for free (it takes only a few minutes), and designate the school to which you want to donate.

From then on, when you use that credit card at participating eScrip partners, a certain percentage of your purchases is automatically donated to your school. You can even track online how much you’re earning on your teen’s behalf!

It’s a choice you can’t help but feel good about.
