You're taking drivers ed because the state requires you do so, and because it will help you become a confident, well-prepared driver. Your state requires that you pass the comprehensive final exam that will be given at the end of this course. The final covers all the topics presented during your course.

Using the course is a piece of cake! Imagine an old school slide show – that's kind of what the course is like, only with more information! There are pictures and text on almost every slide. Sometimes there will be a video or case study, too. Once you've read the slide and know the material, click the "Next" button and move onto the next slide. You are welcome to use the "Back" button to reread information.

You will have unlimited access to the information in the course. And our favorite part? You can log in and log out of the course whenever you want, and always come back to exactly where you left off. You'll never have to repeat slides or information unless you want to. If you get called away from your computer, the course remembers where you were and holds your place.

Plus, each slide has a feedback button, so you can give DriversEd.com your feedback anytime you are in the course. Let us know what you think!

The course is designed for easy-learning on your end. All the subjects covered are broken down into modules, and each module is broken down by topic and then expanded upon. We give you the fundamentals and then build upon that base knowledge. Each course offers:

  • Basics of Driving: stopping, starting, turning, parking
  • Rules of the Road: state specific laws and procedures
  • Signs and Signals: how to interpret road signs and signals
  • How to Handle Road Emergencies
  • Driving Defensively
  • Avoiding Distracted Driving
  • The Dangers of Driving Under the Influence

And so much more!

Texas requires that you pass the comprehensive final exam that will be given at the end of this course. The final covers all the topics presented during your course and is presented in multiple-choice format.
